The de Nicola Center, in collaboration with the Sheedy Family Program in Economy, Enterprise, and Society, welcomes Matthew Crawford for a talk entitled, "Gratitude and the Modern Condition." Crawford is a Senior Fellow at the University of Virginia's Institute for Advanced Studies in Culture, and is the New York Times bestselling author of Shop Class as Soulcraft, The World Beyond Your Head, and Why We Drive).

The lecture begins at 4:00 p.m., and will be followed with Q&A.
