“The Book that Changed My Life” Lecture features a Notre Dame faculty member speaking on a book that changed his or her life and shaped the ways in which he or she was — and is — uniquely changed, challenged, and enriched by it. The faculty's reflection is followed by conversation and a reception. Student Sorin Fellows who attend the lecture receive a copy of the featured book (quantity limited). In this presentation, Jason Baxter will speak about Dante's Divine Comedy. Baxter is the author of A Beginner’s Guide to Dante’s Divine Comedy (Baker Academic, 2018) and The Medieval Mind of C.S. Lewis (InterVarsity Press, 2022), among other books and articles.
