Symposium: The #MeToo Moment: Second Thoughts on the Sexual Revolution

Location: The Mayflower Hotel, Washington, D.C.

The #MeToo movement has generated widespread outrage over sexual harassment and the culture that condoned it. More broadly, it has prompted new questions about related harms to women and whether those harms share a common root in the sexual revolution.

The current cultural moment calls for a thoughtful look at the promises - and consequences - of the sexual revolution. Join us for a timely conversation with distinguished experts (including CEC Public Policy Fellows Helen Alvaré and Monique Chireau, with Director O. Carter Snead) who will draw on women's experiences and the latest evidence from the social sciences, law, and medicine, as they offer "second thoughts" on the sexual revolution.
