Ave Maria University's "Academics at AMU" blog recently featured an article about the Notre Dame Center for Ethics and Culture sponsoring 11 undergraduate students to take part in the CEC's 17th Annual Fall Conference, "You Are Beauty: Exploring the Catholic Imagination." One senior student quoted in the article joked that, "from all the paper presentations she heard over the weekend, she now has material to dwell on for at least a month—if not a lifetime." Another student said that attending the Fall Conference was a “highlight” of his semester. The scholarship grant to attend the conference was arranged in concert with AMU sociology professor Michael New, who has served on the faculty of the CEC's Vita Institute.
