Each attendee to the conference received a conference notebook and packet that contained selected case studies, questions for reflection, contact information, and references for further study.
Our primary goal for this year's conference was to give students a voice, and for that reason discussions groups will be central. The Discussion Session on Friday was entitled “Ethical Patients” and dealt with a number of issues including unpleasant patients, alcoholism, and obesity. Saturday's discussion focused on reproductive medicine. Participants were asked to read through the material below and formulate questions and comments for discussion.
