The theme of Breaking Bread Fall 2006 was "Forgiveness and the Challenge of Loving Enemies." Dr. L. Gregory Jones, Dean of the Duke Divinity School and Professor of Theology, started the evening with a brief reflection on this theme.
The dinner took place in the Notre Dame Stadium Press Box on September 26, 2006. At the beginning of dinner, Dr. Jones gave a brief reflection intended to serve as a springboard for the small-group discussions that followed. Dr. Jones' book, "Embodying Forgiveness: A Theological Analysis," was provided gratis to all Breaking Bread participants.
