Today's Life Choices was a series of 30-minute programs, produced by the University of Notre Dame, that examined various attitudes and beliefs relating to contemporary social issues. The programs, produced on location throughout the United States and overseas, capture personal stories and feature leading experts who present their own unique point of view on each issue, challenging the viewer to respond. The series was broadcast on more than 65 PBS stations across the country. Today's Life Choices programs received many awards, including two Gabriel Awards, two WorldFest Charleston Awards, three New York Festivals Awards, and a Silver Medal from the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education. David Solomon, W.P. and H.B. White Director of the Center for Ethics and Culture was the academic advisor for many years of this nationally syndicated PBS television program and appeared frequently on the program.
Many of the TLC episodes are available for viewing from the Center for Ethics and Culture in 1047 Flanner Hall at the University of Notre Dame. Browse the list of episodes available from the Center along with descriptions of each episode here.
